Church Leadership

Senior Pastor
Lael Fenton
Lael grew up near Buffalo, New York, and attended Bible college in northern Wisconsin, where he met Suzanne while performing in a play with her. They were married, and attended seminary in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Upon completion of seminary, a church in Massachusetts invited Lael to come and serve as Youth Director. In 2005, Lael and Suzanne moved to Maine and began serving at Cornerstone. In 2010 Cornerstone confirmed God’s call in Lael’s life to lead the church in pastoral ministry. Lael and Suzanne have 4 children. They love hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and exploring, along with encouraging others and continuing to learn.

Assistant Pastor
Harrison Otis
Harrison grew up in Freeport and attended Cornerstone with his family as a child. After graduating from high school, he pursued further education in a variety of places: Purcellville, Virginia; Rambouillet, France; Regina, Saskatchewan; and, most recently, Waco, Texas. Harrison first began to aspire to pastoral ministry while living in Texas. The call was confirmed by wise counselors and in 2024 Cornerstone called him to return and serve them as an assistant pastor.
Harrison married Abby in 2022 and they are currently expecting their first child. He enjoys making music, reading and writing, playing board games, watching movies, and exploring the outdoors. Harrison has a PhD in English and teaches courses at the University of Southern Maine; he is also an online student in the M.Div. program at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
